Magnum Worldwide Flexitanks are placed inside a standard 20ft dry box container converting into a liquid container which can be loaded with up to 24,000 litres of product depending on its specific gravity. On removal of the Flexitank the box again becomes a dry goods container. Magnum Worldwide
Flexitanks are constructed from a wide range of sophisticated materials,
specifically designed for Flexitank use. These include Nitrile Rubber
and high strength Polyester and Nylon fabrics coated on both sides
with Polyurethane, PU/PVC Blends, PVC and other polymers according
to the product to be carried. Magnum Worldwide also operates the
Magnum Container Flexitank with a high strength polypropylene casing
and a disposable polyethylene liner ideal for all kinds of foodstuffs.
Thus Magnum Worldwide Ltd and Magnum Container Inc. can offer the
widest possible range of Flexitanks, in single trip or re-usable
format, to suit every customers requirements. Both Magnum Worldwide
and Magnum Container Flexitanks are made with materials approved
by the US Food & Drugs Administration (FDA), EU and other bodies
for the carriage of a wide range of foodstuffs. It is Magnum Worldwide's
policy not to re-use its multitrip Flexitanks for foodstuffs. Thus
all possible causes for contamination are eliminated. It is also
Magnum Worldwide's policy to test every Flexitank at the factory
and again when practical at a local Magnum Worldwide Flexitank depot.
Standard Magnum Worldwide Ltd and Magnum Container Flexitank sizes
range from 12 to 24 cubic metre capacity but other sizes can be
made specially. Magnum Worldwide and Magnum Cortainer also offer a range of static storage tanks of up to 200 cubic metres capacity.
